A hospice... full of life
I admit I came with a preconceived notion of what a hospice would be like, and how the digital product would likely look.
I was tasked initially to create the new brand look for the website, and through extensive user research was blown away with the clear favourite for the colours and feel, via interviews with stakeholders, employees and patients & families.
My initial plans for a muted pastel based palette were cast aside as bold, vibrant designs focussing on showcasing the people who make all the difference in this wonderful place.
UX techniques such as card sorting/tree testing restructured the existing map so users quickly find all relevant information.
